copied from website:

" In February of this year, Dreamworks SKG negotiated the U.S. remake rights for the film, joining "My Wife is a Gangster" and "Hi, Dharma" in being the very first Korean films to be picked up by Hollywood for such purposes.

yea, i remember when it was super popular...but the jap version is WAAAAY better than the american one...dont even bother to watch it. it's such a waste of money. if u want to get freaked out...watch the jap version.

what is the japanese version called?

is there a translation for it cuz im not japanese but i wanna dl it.

Posted by sangxjin on 10-20-2002 03:52 PM:

ajy there should be a jap version with american subtitles. btw. i didnt know and i posted the same thread in the random thoughts area. someone close that for me?
i saw it and i think its a lot better than the teen horror flicks that came out. but i say sixth sense was alot better. the director got lost somewhere while trying to merge the japanese and american one together. some parts that made no sense were the relationship between the son and the mom. it wasn't supposed to be erie but the director made it seem that way. for example, how he called her mom "rachael" and how rachael didnt care if he would end up in a foster home if she died. the side story about the horses was lame and threw you off and after almost 2 hours the payoff is missing. i thought it would be somewhat like the japanese one but its missing something. overall, i would recommend you watching it but if you want something freakier look for the japanese version.
