new game boy advance
Nintendo announced they will release a new model of GameBoy Advance called GameBoy Advance SP in Japan on February 14 for 12,500 yen, simultaneously with the release of Square's Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. The GameBoy Advance SP is foldable like a portable DVD player, and it comes with built-in backlit and rechargeable lithium battery. The battery can be used for 10 hours continuously (or 18 hours with backlit turned off), and recharge in 3 hours. The dimension of the system is 84.6mm (L) x 82mm (W) x 24.3 mm (Thickness), and weight in 143g. The size of the LCD display is the same as the regular GBA. A headphone converter plug is also available for 500 yen, which allows you to connect another stereo headphone to the system. GameBoy Advance SP will be available in platinum silver, azurite blue and onyx black colors. A US version of GameBoy Advance SP will be released on March 23, for US$99.

ahh this looks cool, I want to get final fantasy tactics.. I haven't been playing my gba that much in a while though... ever since i bought street fighter 2 turbo for it, I haven't gotten a single game, I was looking forward to sfa 3 but i never got it and it never seemed to come out, there are some cool games but I haven't felt compelled to buy them yet. Maybe i'll sell mine soon and buy this one when it comes out.
