hlep me

I am 14 years old and i like this guy and my mom said that i could have a boyfriend if i asked so i asked because this guy i like asked me out and my mom said that i can not go out with him do i go out with him behind my moms bake or tell i cant go out with him? help me i dont know what to do

I don't think you should lie to your mom.

If I were in your situation (which I'm not and I know nothing else BUT if I were in your situation) I would tell my mom. If she got angry with me then that would be that.

I guess depending, I would just stay ... special friends... or break it off. By depending, I mean depending on the guy. I know a couple of guys that, if they asked me out, I'd probably go out with no matter what my mom said... But family is more important than a (you're 14...) probably fleeting relationship.

So there's my view on it but yea... alex is right: you should do what you feel like is the right thing. I don't know where your emotions lie but I don't like continually making my mom upset or worried.

There's no harm in trying to reason with her first but yea... guys come and go... you won't always have your mom around (as depressing as that is probably for you and especially for me and maybe even most everyone else)

boyfriends and girlfriends are a waste of time, you should concintrate on school work then when you get to college or get a profession the guys will be rollin for you

i never had bf's when i was 14, didnt need one..their SO pointless when your that young, i swear..cuz like 99.9% of the time..you will break up very soon and wont ever end up with them in the long run. if you have feelings for him, then be his friend...and when your both mature enough to date..say 16..then go out..you have a better chance of being together for a long time

how about just hanging adding this boy to your group of friends? you shouldn't be dating one-on-one at 14. causes too much pain, emotion, distress, and distraction. but there's no reason that you, he and 6 of your other friends can't see a movie together.

14..16. not much difference. i don't think the average person can mature so much in just 2 years.

oh you'd be surprised. The difference of 2 years isn't the main isn't here.. it's the EXPERIENCES that come in those two years.

I used to think that the difference between a freshman and a junior weren't really.. there. Well they are. The things that "society" (term used loosely) forces you to learn and go throw in those brief 2 years can change a person drastically.

Plus is called... puberty eh? It happens so quickly.

PS. Off subject sort of but helps to prove that ...There is a difference for 2 years.... especially if a girl is 17 and a guy is 19. That's rape mang.

mmm i say don't worry about boys now, i dated when i was 14, it was pretty useless, there was no point to ur relationship... it was just like having a friend but u guys just chill out more together cuz ur "going out", then it comes 2 a blreak up and u'll probably cry for no reason. theres a difference..and yeah puberty was one, especially for guyd cuz they mature later, she wouldnt have much luck wit him, and i was a lot more different when i was 14 than now, A LOT like crazy, lol
