this movie looks soooo cute! my friends went to see it... but i couldn't go :sad: its made by ghibli... the same company that made my neighbor totoro... and was adapted<-- is that the rite word... hmm... by disney.

yea... i heard it was a really big hit... well it is a ghibli production after all.

... and darn! i missed it! bleh... guess i'll wait until the dvd comes out.

it got raving reviews at the toronto film festival a few weeks ago.. i can't wait.

currently in NY it is still being played. My japanese class will be traveling to times square to view it with SUBS. (w00t) It is the all time highest grossing movie in japan, and indeed has won many other awards.

i cannot wait!

just saw it today.

TOTALLY GIHBLI STYLE.

very interesting. had to do with a lot of shinto religion things. and this lady with a huge nose.

For those of you living in seattle...it is playin at the Neptune theatre rite next to Univ. of Wash. I havent seen it yet myself but i think its dubbed rather then subtitled...U'd figure being RITE next to the Univ. itd be subtitled...educated people...but guess not...but then again...it just said english version...mite mean that its subbed...dont know for sure...

saw it a few hours ago. loved it. it was simply breathtaking.

but the ending was sorta eh. and when she was riding on the back of the dragon boy didn't it remind you of THE NEVERENDING STORY? my gootness.
