Man, is it just me, or does every Asian guy I've ever met hate this series if they ever played it? (Don't mean to generalize but coincidentally, it's true to me, almost every Asian guy I met in person hates this game)

Anyone here who actually plays AND enjoys this rather obscure series of games? If ONE person in this board says yes, damn will I be amazed.

haha yup i go armored core one when it came out and really liked it especially the 1 v 1 combat thing haha i owned in that lol..i havent got 2 or any of the other sequels yet for my ps2..dunno if ill get them though..

Chinesegrl: It counts. If you're willing to spend some time customizing a cool-looking Gundamesque robot left and right to make it perform madd good in missions, and in battles against other giant robots like it (and with a HEAVY ATTENTION TO DETAIL), yes, you'd find it fun.

Yep, didn't think you'd enjoy it. To be honest, you'd only get a full enjoyment of the game if you're one of those elitist nerdy types who would devote loads of time to it, to the point it's a hobby itself almost. (yes, I fall in that category)

Castle Outsider: AC3 came out in September, and damn does it kick ass. But I suggest you wait till May, when AC3SL comes out. It's supposed to be the damn greatest game in the series.

isnt armored core like a version of gundam game? i remember playing a demo version. there is another game called gun metal and its gonna come out for pcs and xbox (i think). its like another version of transformers or something.

I like it. Though i'm south asian, not east asian so maybe your theory still works?

Anyway, most of the asian people i've talked to know what that game is that well, the limited amount of people i've talked with granted but still not knowing incurs. I'd think asians would tend to like that. I like it it's sweet.
