internet dating is only for lame, desperate people who are seeking comfort and attention on their computer screen instead of in the real world.

desperate? not all the time i noe sum friends who met online and they are juss doin fine~ and i noe for fact dat online dating is not always seeking for attention sumtimes you want to give them attention.... not in a bad way but in a good way well

'face's yu can say.. if you and the other person is VERY commited, it COULD work out.. i read this story on some website long tym ago abouh my frn.. she met sum guy on the internet and dey were seeing eachother 'online' and after about a year.. the gurl decided she wanted to be closer to her boifriend sho she MOVED to where he lived.. and dey got an apartment together.. and frum wenever i seen this.. dey been together for about 4 yrs.. anything is possible if yu put the time and effort into it..

in the "real world" everything is about looks.. so it's UNDERSTANDABLE how some people could would resort to the internet, where people don't have to know what you look like... just what you say....
regardless, i still think internet dating is kind of pitiful

what i want to know is.... do people find STRICTLY internet dating sad or..... would it be even more sad if they actually met up AFTER talking on the internet.... and would this apply to people having friends on the internet? like i know a couple of people on this forum have met and talked on the phone right?

and also... for instance someone (a friend of both) set 2 people up on a blind date..... or if 2 people just MET on the internet and dated "in the real world".... how would those 2 be different?
