I asked them, man, if you got such korean pride, why do you own a ford ? lol.

But...i know, koreans don't make good cars, but we do make some nice cell phones...and we're the 3rd largest sellers of mobile phones in the US. Samsung.

its funny how korean cars suck.

not everyone in italy drives a lamborgini, or a fiat.

.ROFL.

That's so true. I mean go ahead get a korean car, no one is stoping you. Everyone may have a different prefence on cars. But Fact will always be fact on the preformace of cars.

DON'T LISTEN TO ANY OF THESE STUPID DUMBA$$ES. THEY DON'T HAVE experiance.. they just rely on other comments people make.

who ever said that Koreans don't drive KOrean cars.. think again..

You can talk to me because I've owned 3 Korean cars in my life... I changed not because they were treating me bad or anything.. its just because i like to get something new everytime.

the Kia Sorento is one hell of a SUV.. it gots the Korean engineered and Made 3.5 litre v6. same as the Kia Minivan.. I've seen this engine itself at the Detroit Auto Show and some guy from Australia told me that the engine had good Detail(?). i believe this suv will be on a Truck Chassis instead of a Cars.

To rest of you koreans.. go drive your Japanese cars and leave people who think about Korean cars or plan to buy one alone. You guys are just useless. fags.

Jus tdon't buy Older Korean cars like old erKias.. because they have Mazda Engines and they are Junk.. so are the older Hyundai's 1986-1995.. they have Mitsubishi junk. Go test one yourself and don't ask people online.. mostly Korean websites.

Hey Nojeel,

Common Sense. If a Car has a outstanding warrant and you think this is because the car breaks down alot.. I think the Company will lose money.. right?

well Hyundai's and Kia's(Now own by Hyundai) has oustanding Reliablity.

Posted by KPak-NC on 09-23-2002 02:30 AM:

Hey HyundaiWRC , love that pic man...

I want to get a Kia Sorento soon. Besides, the talk about koreans competing with each other over expensive cars is so ignorant. Cars are what gets you from point A to Point B. I don't spend money on my car.

Heres an example, i know this one korean kid who spent alot of money on his acura integra and got into a head on collision and totaled his car real bad. Lost everything!

I just change my tires, get oilchange and buy car soap.

And about korean cars breaking down alot, i see hondas on the side of the road broken down everywhere in charlotte, nc.

first of all alot of the people here think Korean cars have no power.... well guess what... Korean engines has the best maximum output of horsepower per liter...... 2nd to the Ferrari... (motor trend) AND... people say Korean cars are bad quality but guess what.... there are cars in the Korean market right now that are as good or even better than the Mercedes Benz S-Class... Hyundai Equus.... only sold in the motherland... their most luxury car... V8 engine with i believe 300 + horsepower for HALF the cost of the Mercedes..... TAKE THAT MERCEDES!!! The only reason why people don't buy korean cars is because of the reputation it has had when it first came to the American market.... soon that will change..... trust me. Hyundai and Kia are building such great cars....... the Kia Sorento is almost like the Lexus RX-300 just without all those high tech gizmos, and guess what...... Japan has signed a contract with Hyundai to use Korean 4 cylinder engines for most of the Japanese cars..... why?? cuz Koreans make the best 4 cylinder engine.... Maximum output of horsepower without killing the engine..... give korea a couple years and it will have a chance to play a HUGE role in the auto business

all i can say is too much pride can be a bad thing.

-edit- oh yeah..korean cars reliable? hrm, reliability + 100k warranty...dont add up. it's like saying, 'hey, we're giving you a 100k warranty b/c we know something that you don't.'

Posted by sangxjin on 09-27-2002 10:09 PM:

ahahaaha this is funny.

wasn't the honda s2000 the car with the best max. output from a 4-banger? anyway the reason they buy a merc over a hyundai is because well merc has been making luxo cars a lot more than the korean company. comparing a s600 to the highest rank car in korea is like comparing chocolate to shit.

OH dang. i would pick the Hyundai Equus any day..

the V-8 in the Hyundai Equus.. Hyundai and Mitsubishi shared technologies and they both engineered the engine. The engine is used both in the Mitsubishi luxury car(DOn't know what its called")

Posted by WcKJjAsHiK on 09-28-2002 01:28 AM:

see u people have to think of it the other way... if u have a car with 3 year warranty and it breaks down in the 4th year...... U GOT TONS OF PROBLEMS TRYIN TO FIX IT!!!!! but hyundai.... cuz they are so confident with their cars.... they give u 10 year 100K warranty. Warranty is all about how confident u r with ur car. 4 cylinders r put into economic cars.... the Hyundai 4 cylinder engine out lasts Honda Civic, Acura Integra, Honda prelude, Toyota Corolla, and all the other 4 cylinders.... Yes Germans r good in making engine but the BEST 4 cylinder is Korea.... 6 cylinder is Europe and Japan.... and gas guzzling 8 cylinder is USA. Now if u ask me... I'd rather get a Korea 4 cylinder car if u want ur car to run perfectly fine without any problems for years....

Posted by sangxjin on 09-28-2002 01:46 AM:

the higher the warranty usually equals the cheaper the quality.

Ok, I'm going to repeat this millions of times...

Why would a car company give a 100k warrantty? I mean if the car was very bad... and the company gave a 100k Warranty...they would lose tons of money....So, i think Hyundai's are reliable
