HOT IMPORT NIGHTS review

well this is my review of HOT IMPORT NIGHTS at atlantic city past saturday.. i went with 3 other people including true life.. we had nothing better to do..besides.. i wanted to see natasha yi! but i guess not

as some of you may know hot import nights is all about show.. which i didn't mind because i liked to see something clever than the average lcd on the back of headrest or the bright yellow paint job.. its nice to just look at people's work

having said that
this is my opinioin

hottest paint job
was definitely the acura RSX on import tuner magazine.. it looked even better up close and it was crawling with alpine gear.. the interior looked extra snazzy toooo

hottest custom exterior
GS4 runner.. yeap.. some guy with a 4 runner put a gs400 front bumper.. for some reason it looked really good.. maybe cuz i was like.."woah a really tall gs 400!" .. but then the lines were clean and it was the one that stood out the most as far as customizing goes..


hottest presentation
this blue wrx.. didnt have much at all.. except the upgraded turbo, intercooler and a dyno chart.. 338 horses!!!! damn this thing would flyyy.. if only the owner was there.. he would abeen my new best friend

hottest audio
couldnt really hear shit cuz everybody blasted their system but i still say the blue rsx cuz its interior was amazing.. truly was

hottest model
kaila yu.. cuz she waved and smiled at my camera.. d=) aiko tanaka is not that hot in person.. weird huh ? and if natasha yi was ther.. damnn.. i would choose her

hottest overall car
the black eclipse with chromed out everything.. yeah kinda sounds cheasy but everything was so damn cleannn.. paint was clean, engine was clean, intercooler was huge, kit was clean, everything was nice in this car.. we all voted that this car should win..

we stayed at HIN for about 4 hours then it was time to leave cuz our damn feet hurt for walkin around the damn place twice.. there was always something to look at which was nice.. do i recommend going? hmm maybe.. i recommend takin a razo scooter like this kid did.. and maybe you'll save yourself some sore feet

damn your lucky you got to go. anyway ur talking about the Wings West RSX with the bluish paint job and the custom Alpine stereo in the back with the decks thing? Yea i saw it in Import Tuner and it was pretty damn hot.

hell yeah im talkin about that rsx.. it was sweet.. NX direct port nitrous.. custom interior.. 3 lcds nex to each other.. 3 deck amps.. it was sooo nice.. i didnt mind the graphix either.. it looked sweeeet.. matter of fact.. ima look at my camcorder and look at it again! peaceeee

i just hope the rsx doesnt become the next civic.

its funny how everyone who decided to head into the "racing" scene thinks imports are best, imports are better than domestics..dont get me wrong i love both sides..but until you imports show the domestics your not just some shitty ricemobile. Rather, put down some impressive times, the domestics will look down on you guys. Styling i would choose a import over a domestic any day..

Just one question the new Infiniti G35 is the new Skyline right? They share similar powerplants and the official Nissan.jp website had pictures of the skyline which was a G35..

Anyway the new 350Z powerplant isn't bad at all..the stock parts can hold up to 400Hp..not bad.

best power for the buck? yeah probably.. but i have a thing against domestics.. my family has had several domestics and they break down on us.. we vowed never to own one ever again... as soon as they got a honda.. we've been known as a honda family and has owned 3 of them in the last 4 years.. soon to be 4 this month..

im tryin to get a new RSX.. what yall think? any other considerations? either that or maybe a WRX if i can get my hands on a cheap one..

or just wait and save up for the Evo 7.

anyway i would go for the WRX..the thing that turns me down are the headlights..maybe you could rice it out a little and change the headlights into the same ones used on the WRX STi in the WRC. those look nice.

but if it was styling i would go with the RSX..i just hope they make a decent turbo or supercharger and come up with some nice bolt-ons soon.
