throw a gift away that your x gave you?

is it just me or is it normal???

i kept it for a very long time its been couple of years..i think im juss being foolish rah?

is there a way to let it go?what should i do?or should i just keep it and wait...?

because of the fact that you still have feelings for that person..its the honest truth..if you cannot even get rid of a gift someone gave you in your past relationship..it must mean its a really nice present and you want to keep it..but i seriously doubt that..most likely cause you cherish it because a certain person gave it to you..seems like your still holding on to that person..it could be a good thing or a bad thing..just don't latch onto them too long when they are not interested at all..you could get hurt..

if your honestly do not care about this person and want to TRY to forget about them..then you must basically get rid of all the things that reminds you of him..unless you want to remember that person...

i burn, rip them and throw them in the bin, or just leave it somewhere and don't care.. i still have a close relationship with my ex but its only for friendship.. i broke up with him for a good reason and we remain friends.. at first reading all the letters and letting go was really hard but when u do it..... u think (well i was thinking) about the pass and good times we had, but i was also thinking of why i broke up with him in the first place which motivated me to let go and burn all the letters and throw away all the pictures etc etc.. there is no use keeping something that would bring back memories which would hurt me even more . all the good times and fun i had with him would only be remembered in my mind.... its best keeped that way.. plus if your new b'f finds that u still have your ex's things.. wouldn't he be really jealous.. you'll be in that sitution of explaining things to him.. which would only cause trouble because if u love your new b'f wouldn't u just throw alway your ex's things.. ?

sorry if it doesnt make any sense its 2.54 am in the morning in australia.. i am feeling pritty tired... sorry for any errors or if u dont understand...
