Doesnt Karaoke and lyricism kinda fall into the same category? Dont tracks belong in lyricism and karaoke?

naw... its not all rapping, some other people sing n stuff, so i guess it doesnt fall into the same category. its all up to jusun in the end i guess.

uhm..where the hell you getting all those pictures from?
k..anyway. i dont think karaoke should be a sub-forum under lyricism...when i hear the word "lyricism" "flowing/rapping comes to mind. and when i hear the word "karaoke" singing comes to mind. and to me..rapping and singing are two different ways of making music. which reminds me..ima go karaoking tomorrow..can't wait

so are you saying..move the whole karaoke forum into the lyricism one? or just make another one? i think it would confuse the posters tho...if you made a sub-forum and had the original karaoke forum.

other forums are dying... so sang's got a point... and rapping and singing do go under the category of music... so yeah

actually, thats a great idea...why cant we make our own music section? that way, each part will get more attention and more visitors. Pictures has its own lil section...why cant music? i understand it isnt really that big on these forums...but, im sure itll get there ^^

i think it all depends on your point of view

i still stand by my previous decision. in the hierarchy of things, karaoke comes before lyricism. this is because karaoke covers a much larger discussion base. it wouldn’t make much sense, therefore, to put karaoke as a subforum for lyricism. if at all, there should be a rapping subforum for karaoke, not the other way around. also lyricism is not as popular as the picture forums you are referring to, thus making your argument weak. with your reasoning, every other forum might as well be categories.

now heres a possible solution: those who wish to post their audio clips in lyricism should first do so in karaoke, and then link the thread in lyricism.

i agree... this place doesnt get enough attention to get its own subforum for audios. but i think movin everything to karaoke is stupid too, cuz why make two posts when it'd be easier just to make one.

i guess the real drawing line between whether it should get moved to karaoke or not is if its that person's original work. if not, (aka they sing/rap someone else's song), it should be moved to karaoke. but if they wrote it, i think it should stay here, just to keep the two different kinds seperated. and since not too many people here actually record, i dont think that would cause too much a problem.

just my opinion anyway.
