i'm sorry...i'm not sure where to put this thread.
most of my classmates in spanish class were laughing b/c of a face that the teacher made...unfortunately, my friend and I were caught and was asked to stay after class to have a "little chat".
she then had a long speech on how since we're asians and we should live up to our "reputations" as exceeding students and that our parents didn't have the same opportunity as we have today.
AAAGGGHHH ! ! ! ...i wanted to slap her. sry if u think i'm stupid :sad:

p.s. i realize this thread is pointless..sry.

-edit- i forgot...blah . . . she then told us that we, "the asians" aren't really accepted in society today. how racial iz that?!

that jus pissed me off..i dont know if ur teacher was intentionally being racist or not, but she is definitely IGNORANT..i cant believe there are still people in America that can say stupid things like that..tellin u that because ur asian u should excell in school like everyone expects? who cares if its an indirect compliment or not, it is in no way flattering in my opinion..she obviously still thinks of u as a foreigner, im sorry to say..where do u go to school anyway?

Oh TZ, you can pay the Earth Science Mafia to beat that teacher up and be all discreet about it. You'll probably have to give the APA money or beer though. (Don't give light beer or they'll get pissed.)

what the? i laugh in class everyday.. and talk. and even SLEEP.
but i can tell some of my teachers don't like me ... ionno WHY, but they ignore my questions, put me in the corner.. sometimes even mark me absent when i'm THERE.

yea, one of my tutors doesnt really like...talk to me...i mean, i see him chatting away to other students (mainly aussies) but yeah...i mean, it's not only me, but other asians as well...i dont know...i get this really strange vibe from him...but o well, it dont matter cause i dont like him anyway...he's such an stupid ass
