This is old but 9-11

I sat at home,
Sitting alone,
No one around,
Nothing making a sound,
I look for something to do,
But I really have no clue,
I turn on the TV,
What do I see,
A plane crashed into a building,
Holy cow that surprised me,
I turn to other channels thinking it was not real,
I turned to the last channel,
I was thinking what’s the deal?
No one ever hated us this much,
I really did not think,
Someone who took thousands of lives,
Probably because their brain had a little kink

I call all my friends to see if they found out,
But turning back on the TV seeing people running and screaming about,
It made me wonder what was it all about,
Some people could cry
Some people could pout
But some people want to be out on the battlefield for America,
Without a doubt,
Now while your sitting here,
Thinking this is old,
I want you to know,
War will never grow cold,
We will be there at night
At day and morning,
But as long as someone does that to us,
We won’t give you any warnings.
