i kno its cool to think bout hella expensive cars and all dat...talkin bout gs430's and 540i's, wrx's and lancer evo 8's, but if u wanna get serious...exactly how many of u guys are gonna get top end luxury cars de-tuned rally cars as your first car? instead of talkin bout all this...u guys could really be talkin bout and researchin into ur prospective car and figurin out wat car u really want...

dont get me wrong...if ur PARENTS are gonna buy a top end luxury car and ur gonna get to drive it ONCE IN A WHILE..by all means talk bout them...but if u guys are serious bout YOUR car...this is where u should be figuring out wat you want

dont get me wrong im not hating....im paying off my own car...and once in a blue moon i get to drive around in my mommy's lex too...im not hating but i kno wat car i wanted and i got exactly dat...safety wit reliability, acceleration and speed better than most economically similar cars.

my future car(also my dream car) is the 89-91 M3. I love that style and it's not too expensive. 14-16K for them in good shape. that's around 8-10k american. the problem is that wif a performance car that old is that lots of people probably pushed it hard. good thing I like doing mechanics eh? :D M3 BABY!!!!!

i agree. im just happy with my car. even tho its not what i wanted. it's satisfactory as far as my first car go y'know?
i think for your first car you have to love it. not for its luxury (if its luxurious thats great) or for its performance (if its fast thas great) but just the fact that it's yours , especially if you paid for it yourself. you look at it from different angles and gawk at it thinking it looks better than the other civics , 3 series or whatever you have. you sit in it and you recognize the smell. you put miles into it and you grow a relationship with your car. you know where its been, you know its querks, and all the areas that need fixin. you treat it better than your gf just like that dream superexotic car that you been dreamin of cuz it's yours.

thats pretty much how i felt when i got my car. Although not all the time, reality is sometimes just as good as your imagination.

with all due respect, there ARE many people that do get these expensive cars. why? to be honest i really don't know..but if u think about it..its the parents. they want to have the "best" for their children..blah blah and blah. although i agree with u.. 540i's and gs430's are pushing it. but then again..sometimes the parents have hookups...for example, my uncle owns a bmw dealership in canada, and i'm getting an M3 for next to nothing. duz this make me better than the kid that gets the brand new 540i from his parents? nope. but still, thats one aspect of why peepz might get expensive cars..hook ups.
