If you want a cheap and well preforming motherboard, go for the ECS K7S5A... that's what i have and it seems to run fine..

if looking for raw profomance go for any mainboard with the via kt333a chipset, preferably from one of the top tier manufacturers, gigabyte, asus, or msi.

otherwise, if money is a factor, and you want to get the best there is for the price, get a mainboard with nforce440 or the reliable sis745 chipset.
