did suprnova really shut down?
I haven't checked the site. I heard about it a long time ago but never confirmed it. Is it down and out for real?
yep, i believe it went down maybe a year ago though that is a very estimated date
try mininova, torrentspy, torrent reactor

Not a year, I've downloaded stuff off them when at college. It was three months ago, I think. They were afraid of lawsuits.
There really hasn't been a true successor yet. Torrentspy is decent, but still, nothing is as good as suprnova was.

elitetorrents shut down as well. torrentit.com is pretty good, it has everything you need basically. you must do an interview sort of thing in order to apply for registration though.
www.mininova.org is the suprnova but smaller.
