Spring break is ending for me this weekend. And I have a buttload of work due Monday, definitely not happy.
Taking 19 credits this term. And it looks like it'll be 21 next term.
This term:
(HUMA 1002) - Literature Humanities (required core class)
(SCNC 1001) - Frontiers of Science (required core class)
(MDES 1211) - Elementary Arabic II (fulfilling a language requirement - i gotta get up till intermediate 2)
(COMS 3157) - Advanced Programming (required CS class)
(MATH 1202) - Calculus IV
Basically only one class that's not required for me to take, though I am probably going to double major, compsci/math.
Lit.hum has way too much reading. It's generally very good reading, but I just don't have the motivation to do it anymore.
Compsci is way too boring, it's an annoying class that you just have to take for the requirement. It teaches some Perl, C, and C++. Doesn't go very far in depth into any of them. I could really have learned all of that on my own anyway. Waste of time.
My calc professor this term sucks, so I stopped going to that. Still do the hw's, read the textbook, just don't go to the class. Not worth it. I'm gonna have to make sure I show up for the next test.
Next term:
(Don't remember the numbers for some of these)
(HUMA) Contemporary Civilization (required core class)
(MDES) Intermediate Arabic I (again, lang. requirement)
(COMS 3137) Data Structures and Algorithms (required CS class)
(COMS 3203) Discrete Math (required CS class)
(MATH 2010) Linear Algebra
(MATH something in the 3000 level) Ordinary Differential Equations.
That's 21 points so far, might add a gym class to get up to 22 (since 22 is the max).
The term after that things will start to free up where I'll get to start taking some interesting classes (though really, I'll be content taking those math classes next term, probably). Thinking about taking Number Theory and Cryptography then, along with Partial Differential Equations. For CS, I'll probably take Computer Science Theory (formerly known as "Computability") or Comp.Organization.
damn, 21/22 credits. That is admirable, and impressive. Good luck with all that. I do not think i could do more than 19

Yeah that's gonna be a lot of work. Contemporary Civ. has a lot of reading, and Intermediate level Arabic will be tough, so that's a lot of work from just my non-major classes.
But the classes look interesting, so at least I'll be motivated. I'd rather have that than what I have this semester (fewer credits, even though 19 is still a lot, but no motivation because the classes are boring).
omg atar ur crazy.... good luck with that

To update, I couldn't get into the arabic class or a decent gym class.
I'll take arabic over the summer, and that frees it up a bit more, so I added "functions of a complex variable", which should be interesting. So yeah, I'm only taking 20 credits.
Schedule next term:
M/W: 9 AM linear algebra (3), 1:10 discrete math (3), 2:40 data structures (4)
T/R: 9 AM contemporary civ. (core class, 4 pts), 1:10 ODE (3)
and thursday: 4:10 "functions of a complex variable" (3)
20 points in total.
