Count The Stars

.:Counting The Stars:.
Before I sleep,
Every night,
Looking up at the stars,
Counting them, one by one.

As I fall asleep,
I dream that you are here with me.
Sitting beside me,
Counting those stars, together, one by one.

But as we counted,
They began to disappear.
But as I turn to you, to check if you were there,
The most important star of all, had disappeared.

Without my stars,
I can't live.
Eventually I'd burn out, like all the rest.
But until we meet again,
I'll be counting those stars, one by one.
