Catcher in the rye
any of u guys read it? im reading it again right now....im about halfway done i started it before but never finished...i was just wondering what u guys thought of it...personally i think its ok so far...kind of stange but pretty good haha

it was interesting. I am not sure how it is strange, but it was a good read. It goes fast too, i read it in 3 hours or so. It made a lot of sense.

One of my favorites.
First novel I read in which I could really relate to the protagonist.
That's not to say it's the first novel I ever liked, but I enjoyed it on a different level than I enjoyed 1984, for example, which is my favorite novel. Catcher just hit home a little closer.
Felt like bumping this because I'm now, again, reading another text with a character I can somewhat relate to, Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment.
Wonder what it says about me that I can relate to a murderer.
