Violence in Sports
I'm doing yet another research paper. I'm planning to do this one on Sports Violence, but I can't think of a question I could use as the research question.
Here are some examples of research questions:
- How does climate affect the migratory patterns of Canada Geese?
- What effect does laser technology have on general surgical procedures?
- How do the Amish differ from the Mennonites?
- How did Jefferson affect American politics prior to his Presidency?
As you can see, these questions ask you to explain the topic and its effect generally. Now, I need a question like that for violence in sports. My original question "Does violence exist in sports?" will not cut it, unfortunately.

how about: "In what ways does violence get incorporated into sports?"
Thanks thanks!! I have one more question, more like a grammar one:
quote:
Some people may ask, ¡°What do these two things have in common?¡±

MLA format follows the rules of:
"whatever is in the quotation" (source, page number (if a text)).
so the period goes at the end of the sentence. If you had the period after the quotation and there was more to the sentence in teh way you integrated the quotation into the sentence, it would disrupt the flow of the sentence.
