Essays
I've heard that if you rape the intro and have a solid conclusion, you don't really need that much info in the body paragraph to get a good grade.
Do you people usually have information or just make your essay aesthetically pleasing?
info, good intros and conclusions never work for me. Example, i just turned in a theory of knowledge (philosophy) paper, and i had a sweet intro and conclusion with a mad metaphor that was very well developed in the paper that really worked, and the intro and conc were great, but the body was mediocre. It really doesn't work. Especially when you're going against IB heh.

... only the lazy teachers look at the intro and conclusions...

Er, shit. Sorry TyGer STyLe, I accidentally edited your post when I meant to quote it.
Anyway this is pretty much the situation, my teacher is messed up.
Does anyone have any tips on writing intros?
i dont believe that u should only have a good intro & conc while the body remains mediocre...it has to be solid throughout.
