Cry No More

The last one is the one that should not cry.
When life gets too hard, lift thy head in pride.
So cry no more when all have gone to die.

To learn from everything that can be thy
Fright. Let it not be thee who close to hide.
The last one is the one that should not cry.

And do not wish and hope and come to sigh,
Live a good life and just enjoy the ride.
So cry no more when all have gone to die.

ˇ®Cause fighting with the world, ends in a tie
Try so very hard to end up on its side.

But even if all seems to be at high
It will come and go quickly as the tide

The world that is, will always seem to lie.

Once again another school assignment. I suppose even if it's for a school assignment... it had to come from SOMEWHERE.

Villanelle: aba, aba, aba, aba, aba, abaa rhyming. Six stanzas: 1st and 3rd line of 1st stanza are the last lines of the next 4 stanzas. They are also the final two lines of the final stanza. In iambic pentameter.
