Highschool Dropout

k I wrote this in school after finding out that a good friend of mine wants to drop out of school with a couple of my other friends...all get "good" jobs...and share an apartment! Ya....their real smart lol finding a good job at 16 after dropping out of school..I dont think its gonna happen~I got all sad and wrote this for him even tho im not givin it to him haha~he wouldnt care...hes his own person.

~Earlier today when you said what you said,
~I wanted to smack you upside your head!
~You do have potential and i do think your smart,
~And when you say things like this you are breaking my heart.
~I don't understand...if you just tried harder,
~I know you can show people that your so much smarter!
~You think that your plans will turn out alright,
~Move in with your friends and have parties all night.
~Get a "good" job, get money, pay bills,
~But with no education do you think that you will?
~I don't understand cutie, do you think this is cool?
~Please do things the right way and stay in school!
~You've got your whole life to have friends and smoke weed,
~But in order for success, you need to succeed...
~...in school, in college, I know it seems long,
~But im telling you what your doing is terribly wrong!
~Think of this go to college meet a hot "honey," (lol)
~At the same time, get a career and start makin some money!
~Heres two choices, either will change your life so much,
~For the good, for the bad, im wishing you luck!
~But please choose the right one...school it would be,
~I bet you dont even know this means so much to me!

Ok im done hehe sry if I bored u!! Im just sad!! He needs to start thinking about whats best for his future and not about how he cant take school!! grrrr!!

omg thats so sweet.

you know since you since he " is his own person " instead of giving it to him to read on his own ...

like go somewhere quiet with him and read it out loud ...

iono ... i might be into all that sentimental crap .. but it might reach him better that way .. and he'll see that you really care and want him to try harder ...
