on the edge

boredom took me over as i finished my hw at the library and had nothing to do... so i wrote this...

On the Edge

how long do i live this life of mine
my mind always balanced on this thin line
taught with tension im a stretched wire
about to let loose like a furious fire
i close my eyes, i go blind
so i can find solace in my mind
to lift me up from depths so dire
to raise my chin a little bit higher
through the dark i even tually find
a sanctuary of a different kind
and now i see myself nothing but a liar
for this i will never grow weak, i'll never tire
