ash wednesday - lent

today is very important, but i feel realli ashamed that i can't go to mass :sad: do you guys hav any plans for lent, other than giving up something you love? i know this one guy from my church who always stops eating meat for these forty days.

i'm trying to start praying more...and staying away from over-indulging myself, really. and yeah i've always tried to make an effort not to eat meat on fridays during lent buuut...there's NO non-meat entrees at school =T

i went to mass yesterday for ash wednesday...good stuff. some people rub off their crosses but i kept it on for the rest of the night until i washed my face before going to sleep.

man i completely forgot...but most likely ill try giving up cursing...no good can come out of cursing if u think about it

these two kids in my biology class drew a cross on their forehead with a black marker or something

yeai shud def try to pray more and to sacrifice more...but gawd i ate chocolate on the first day i cudn't beelive how careless and stupid i was. well...i fasted on thursday to make up for it. gah -_-;;
