this is pretty old news

anyhow, i'm indifferent to the notion and probably won't watch the remake. Come to think of it, the original wasn't that great.

meh... I don't like how they're remaking asian movies. They're running out of ideas so they're just buying old ones. (did you SEE how many freakin sequals are out? lol matrix reloaded or booted or wathever, x2, charlie's angel full blah... and more and more and more older ones... it's the age of the sequals and remakes)

Whatever happened to rush hour 3? -_- haha.

why don't they just put sub titles? I hate it when ppl remake other stuff, original is best!!

lots of americans have xenophobia so they prolly figure that by using american actors theyll make more money.

it just won't work...I just can't see Americans doing what those two doing...it's just weird

I think the movie is okey...not the greatest but it's funny and a plus 'coz it's a true story

My Sassy Girl was a good movie... It was one I could really enjoy.. But putting that aside, I really can't see how Hollywood's going to translate this movie to match the tastes of North American audiences. I mean, the two cultures are different in many ways, such as the military guy scene. How are they going to change or explain that? I don't think many Westerners know about Korea's mandatory military service.

Just dubbing/subbing would be nice, but many people who don't understand Korean culture may be confused as to what significance does one part play.

Oh well, I'm interested to see how this turns out. For some reason, I think this movie is going to be much different than the original.
