oh yeah, i heard about this like right after the first one came out from aint-it-cool-news.com or something. They were going to make a matrix anime of the prequel of the war between the humans and the machines because it seemed to unfeasable to do in real life. That would have been sweet, i'm not sure what happened to it. I'm not sure what happened to the matrix 2 and 3 for that matter, they were supposed to come out this year but hmmm, aaliyah is gone and i don't know what the real hold up is cause they never release any real info.

matrix anime?
i dunno about that, but the idea for special effects of matrix came from this one particular anime where the directors [brothers] of the movie matrix got their inspiration from. or so i heard.

you know, didn't the H.O.T. mv for We are the Future use bullet time (camera action of zooming, rotating, and such in very slow time or a still shot) before the matrix did? I always wondered that and no ones ever been able to confirm it.

the original blade movie had bullet time before that. bullet time's been used a lot in movies, but since the matrix was so popular in america, most people around use the words 'bullet time' with 'matrix'.
