Sounds familiar...

Don't some kpop songs sound similar to American tunes?
Like SES' Uhn Happy Day. The beginning tune resembles TLC's Waterfalls.
Boa's Listen to my Heart: The little backdrop stuff kinda reminded me of Dream's Love's you Not.
I know there are more but I can't think right now.
Got any more?

Yeah, there are a lot.... Even FinKL has a few songs that sounds like American songs... Like the one from KC and JoJo... But you must admit, there are some here that have similar rhythms to korean songs too... Like that one tune in a commercial I heard that was taken from H.O.T's 'Hope" mv... Yep yep...

i dunno, i think it copied both songs, i couldnt remember the other one, i guess that was it.

Q.O.Q's new song "Leave" sounds extremely familiar to Afroman's "Because I Got High". It's the same beat, same singing rhythm, it's the same freakin' song! just different korean lyrics. has anybody else heard it? and maybe somebody can translate it?

J-Walk's "Suddenly" kind of reminds me of g.o.d.'s "Gil (The Road)"

lim chang jung - "summer dream" = that song that went "who that is / its my baby daddy" (forgot the title and who sang it)

sechs kies - "bi" = bone thugs - "no surrender"
sechs kies - "a+" = bizzy bone - "thugz cry"

I think that for music to not have any beats in common is kinda hard.. i mean it's almost impossible.. cuz i heard a song that sounded like Mariah Carrie's Thank God I Found YOu.. but the beat change for the chorus...

i mean it's really hard to find diff tunes.. sso give them a break~

one i noticed recently was..

brown eyes - song of the rain(?) = case - faded pictures

the instrumentals are almost an exact carbon copy. pretty sad...
