student council

yup it's that time again!! this morning there were shitloads of posters being tacked up all over the walls and pplz giving speeches and stuff in the lunch quad/area. sum hav the cheesiest logos...but i guess they gotta think of SUMTN. pretti soon the candidates will start to pass out lil fliers and pins. i like to collect the pins and decorate mai backpack so hav ne of u run for student council? share ur experiences! i wuz secretary of skool in 6th grd it wuz fun and interesting. but now it's all a popularity contest so i just sit bak and watch.

our student elections happen at the beginning of the school year.

i hate the student council. they're all corrupt, self concious, greedy bastards.

yea krnxswat's onli in 8th grd rite? well bai student council i meant student body...class prez, vice prez, sec, treas, etc. sorri

yeah were having sga and junior and senior class elections now nothing more than a population contest at our school

i never ran for student body..but i was sect for mah national junior honor society~it was harder than i had expected..

now i'm treasurer [almost] for mah key club..
ima try to be vice prez thO~ =]

but yea..any position is hard werk~i think its really kOo of da people who are on student council .. cuz i wouldnt expect it to be very easy..

errm..
in 6th grade i was a prefect. which is like a mini-leader? it's after school captain and there are like 6 prefects or something. in 7-8 i was in SRC (student representative council) but then i changed schools twice afterwards and their SRC's didn't really seem like they had much involvment in the school so yeah /:

i don't like student council. Usually (at my school) everyone elects in their friends and the cool people, making the whole thing a popularity contest with candy giveaways and crap like that.
Candy is good but for the year they're elected into(phrasing?:huh:) , they don't do sh*t..

only popular white people become part of the student counsil or the ASB at my school...
