i've heard that it's just an old wives tale, but i've also heard that its true... so~ wut is it? :huh:

You know, I was just as curious as you were, so I tried it out. I shaved the little hairs on your fingers, ;p to see if they would come back darker. THEY DID! O.O Now I'm hairy on my fingers! lol, be smart. :sad:

i heard its not trOo..and dat it just grows bak faster and it seems like it grew bak darker..but personally..i dunno

Yes it does grow back darker and thicker...that's why after you shave always apply baby oil around the shaved area, then let it air dry so that the pores will abosrb it without leaving a greasy feel~ works on me!

yea yea.......how do you think GUYS shave their mustache and it grows all stubby? i'm sure they started with soft hair and it became hard from shaving it.......same for the woman

It actually not all true.....the reason is because that your hairs aren't strait like l.....they are thicker at the end and get thiner as it goes up....so after a couple days after you shaved it grows back like that so it just looks like its thicker....did that make sense?

my mom told me that she has a friend who shaved her mustache once and then she had to shave it everyday cuz it grew all dark.

WAX!!!!!!!!!!!
waxing is the best becuz it pulls the hair follicle, not just off from the skin's surface. it grows back slower dat way and thinner!

Yeah, that's true, but it's not true that it grows back to that. It is like you cut the thin end of the hair, and coz it grows out from the follicle the new end stays the cut end. And it still looks thicker when you let it grow. But every hair has his own growing circle: It grows it stops, then it fall out. Then from the same follicle a new hair grows. And that new hair has this very thin end again...until you shave it again.

If she has taken wax it hadn't been like that. If your mom's friend still shaves her mustache tell her to take wax. So she pulls out all the hair off the follicle and the new hair which will grow then has the thinner ends again and it will like like before.

Umm...it only seems that it would grow back slower and thinner. But it isn't like that. I told that every hair has his own growing circle. So if one hair is just growing the other one just falls out. And if you pulls out all your hair with wax there are first only some hair which grow back. And about the thinner thing I told up that the ends are always thin.
The good thing if you take wax you always pull out and pull out the hair and that can make the follicles unable to produce new hair.
