my first time.

the very first time i used a computer. was back when i was in 1rst grade. i think we had an apple ii, though i do not remember clearly. but what i remember was that it didnt come with an harddrive and we had to insert those big 5.25" diskettes and boot up that particular software. almost like a gaming console these days.

and then.. later in 2nd grade, my family got a new computer. a spanking pc with 33 mhz of ultra speed, 2mb of ram, and a flopping 200mb of harddrive space. i used to play a lot of this car game back then. it retrospec, the game was very primitive, with 2d vectors that was craftly placed to make an illusion of 3d. in anycase, you could make your own road map. it.. was fun.

and i became fairly good with dos, though i did not understand it whatsoever. back then i thought that that the commands were some secret thing in which if i correctly type the right certain letters, something would pop-up. so i used to waste hours on the command prompt typing gibberish hoping that i would somehow break a secret password of some sort of an amazing game i didnt know about.

that was until i became enlightened and later felt betray by my owm computer.

yup, i'd buy nothing but bullets and the teacher would yell at me cause there were like 30 dead animal carcasses laying around. the funny thing was i'd always win cause indians would provide me with food and stuff.

anyway, the first time i was on a computer was in kindergarten. it was an ibm, 33mhz (i think). In third grade, i got the 166mhz (i still have it and i use it1!!!), which I thought was the best computer in the world and i would always brag about it. now i got a 2.8
