how come so many tv shows are filmed in NY??

i can think of a couple:

NYPD Blues
Friends
Mr. French <i think thats wat its called *new series*>
Ground for life
Will and Grace
Carolina in the City
Sex in the City
and etc.

haha im bored..

becuz NYC alawys been a major city

they should do it in like a cute tiny town more. hehe like..smallville cuz its more like OOh nothing happens in small towns. wahahahahha. okay..anyways....haha

big cities = big production studios and big talent search center = reason to shoot there. Everything is there, they have the studios right there which is one of the reasons why they shoot them there. NBC and other companies are there, so it makes sense. Being a bigger city, it has bigger city advantages like accesibility to everything they need like cameras and stuff fast i suppose. There are a lot of reasons.
