xp is MUCH slower than me. you may want to defragment your disk or do a fresh install of ME. if you want to shell out some cash, upgrade your ram if its below 128mb or cpu if its below 800mhz. to may have to get a new mainboard if you decide to upgrade your cpu.

i do upgarde haha
i have a i think 525 and 2 164 dramz i think or close to dat
and a 1.5 gighrtz but i dunt wanan upgrade my software cuz so much money lol

uninstall any unused programs you have, or dont want. if you really need space then format, but thats a last resort.

xp sucks..i have it too..its wack as hell..that's why i am going to uninstall it and install.. Windows98 SE (special edition) its compatiable to virtually every program unlike xp..and i heard its very smooth..not too many bugs and probs like xp has..

try downloading regcleaner from this site (http://www.vtoy.fi/jv16/index.shtml) and clean up any left over keys from uninstalled programs, and run the auto cleaner. it helped to speed up my computer a lot when i had ME.

Im using Winxp Pro and have no probs with it. Could be the extra programs that you are using in the background.

Any Winxp does work with other programs. You just have to find updates for them.
