any of you guys watch them?
some of them are REALLY good.
if you've watched them already tell me what you think of them.
if you haven't, go to bmwfilms.com and watch some.
you really need a broadband connection to watch them. cause, with dialup its all choppy and slow.

The newest ones are the best in my opinion. (TICKER and HOSTAGE)
Wow..... a mix of sleek action combined with amazing filming and a good message. worth your time. www.bmwfilms.com
I think some of these are better then some full feature length movies i've seen.

In my opinion.. all the videos were good except John Woo...
The best car chases were always done by John Frakenheimer.. the guy who directed "Ronin" with one of the best car chases... too bad he passed away in the summer.
are you crazy? that vintage john woo car chase was beautiful. but hey, your entitled to your own opinion.

yep..
yeah... "beat the devil" wasn't all that great but the race was pretty hot. kinda freaky tho.
woo banG'n.
the bmwfilms are terrific. i haven't seen all of them but the few i have seen were absolutly terrific. Who else but BMW would showcase shortfilms with highly respected directors and actors .. and my favorite part about these films is the storytelling aspect and not just to display the franchise.
the guy ritchie film was a typical guy ritchie film. d=) the highly stylized british filmmaker made his presence evident in the film (i think that was BMW's point in bringing these famous directors whom all have their own storytelling styles). in my opinion his short definitely stood out of the bunch even tho the storytelling lacked a bit which he more than made up for in his visuals. but the short lacked his storytelling pizzazz style and his quirky dialogue which he is known for.
The John woo film was definitely a John Woo film if i have ever seen one. it was a lil too generic for me reminding me of Michael bay/Bruckheimer films(in which Bay steals the trademark slow motion shots). But i enjoyed certain scenes especially the last one. i love twists like that. especially in shorts. its all about irony.
The frankenheimer film (or whoever had don cheodle in it) was absolutly gorgeous. i loved the action sequences and the production that was behind it. the story was great but the ending was a little unbelievable. I'd rather have seen the importance of the president/king or whatever he was rather than be told that the a nation rests on his shoulders. film is a visual medium afterall.
how many more are there? i wanna see more. shorts are awesome.
