i need geometry+english help..anyone :(

i need help. im a freshman and i really want to make good grades- so far it isn't good. i've already earned a 70, 80, and a possible 50 in some of my classes.

geometry-
RS= 8Y +4
ST= 4Y +8
RT= 15Y-9

Y= RS= ST=



^ i dont know how are you suppose to find them :\


and

AB=12
A= (3,0) give 4 possible location for point B


english-

ahhh i need ONE more archetype for Gilgamesh [http://www.ancienttexts.org/library...mian/gilgamesh/] or [http://i-cias.com/e.o/gilgamesh.htm].

i have the journey, loyal retainer, evil figure, friendly beast, hero, good/evil, the fall, mentor, and the initiation......i needone more :(

the english one isnt due till wednesday but the geometry is due tomorrow.. and i know people arnt going to post some help in a second so..anyways :) any help will be greatly appriciated!! thanks

for geometry:
That looks like algebra to me... was there a picture that came with that. if not, use systems of equations i think...

for english:
did you consider the flood?

RS = 8y = 4
ST = 4y + 8
RT - you don't need it....

Y = RS = ST
RS = ST
8y + 4 = 4y + 8
move over the y's and numbers to get
4y = 4
divide
y = 1

What?
Just cause you can't think of how to solve a math problem means you die.
Geometry is easy.
Basically the length width all four sides to a rectangle make up the perimeter.
Memorize the lw equals whatever.
Whenever there's no sign between two letters you multiply, get it?
Look back at the samples in your text. Look in the back of your book for sample answers. It should help!
