Do you have any image editing software?

You have to change the compression on your image files :P

sometimes, it just means changing file types [jpeg or gif instead of bitmap]

I would get more into lossy compression, and dithering etc..

but who really cares T_T

if you have adobe or photoshop, open the program, then open the pic from the program. n you can make the pic smaller by shrinking it.

what type of image is it?
if it's .bmp then maybe you could try changing it to a jpeg or gif.
you can open it up in paint, then save it as image.jpg instead of .bmp
or you could open it up in photoshop and make the image size smaller. image > size.
or...... you could just use the 'save for web' option and make the quality of the picture worse o.0
hope i helped.
