Bird

I don’t know if that Bird ever flies,
It just sits in its own cage and sighs.
Even if it gets out,
It will not fly about.
Too bad Bird is a rat in disguise!

Everyone knows what a limerick is : aabba rhyming scheme. 3 anapestic feet in the 1st, 2nd, and 5th lines and 2 anapestic feet in the 3rd and 4th lines (anapestic foot : unstressed, unstressed, stressed [uu/]) Just another school assignment. I heard that usually limericks are dirty ^_^. lol.

most of the limericks i have heard are dirty........but hilarious
u did nice workd too!
when i was a freshman we had a choice between writing limericks or haiku on one assignment............i chose haiku
i didnt like writing either one..........i like writing with no boundries
i'm just not talented enough to write in boundries
