You Did It For Me

You came into my life without a warning or a sign.
And just like that, we went into a heaven of our own.
A heaven so high above that only you and I shared.
Everyday that passed by, I knew I was going to be fine.

You accepted me without regret or complaint.
Never have I felt so lucky to be with you.
But there’s not one day that passed that I didn’t ask, could this be true
That I had finally found my saint?

One season passed by and we were still happy and pure.
Then came the day when I grew.
You were there for me, and never have I been so happy.
For the first time, everything was not obscure.

But slowly the second season neared.
Our heaven took a turn.
You finally came out and said
I am not as I appeared.

I felt it, but I never knew so soon it would be.
Then I felt the raindrops from the heaven we shared
Knowing it was there to wash away my pain
And then I understood, you did it for me.

Aww that was a nice poem.

I'd personally like to say thanks for contributing. I know I'm not doing much for this forum right now... which I mod. heh. But after this 1st semester of senior year I'll probably be feeling like dishing out all that wonderful angst and emotion that's bottled up in me.

- Just wondering: are you writing this poem from personal experience?

All my poems are written b/c of personal experiences..
thats the only way I can write..
