i don't think i'm over analyzing,...yes, it IS a generalization. And most generalizations have counterpoints, which i pointed out. This actually reminds me of one of our possible essay topics that we could write about for our IB Theory of Knowledge class, the question is:
"We are more likely to be mistaken in our generalizations than in our particular observations. Do you agree"
