question about using streaming vcr...

ok... most people probably use hinnet recorder to download their streaming right? well, i had a problem downloading that so i used streaming vcr... my question is once its download, where does it go? does it have to be saved under vcr. is there anyway to have it turn from streaming to regular media file like "mpg"? and direct it to be stored in the folder you chose? :sad:
