Reviving LYRICISM
my friend and I are writing a song about. Missed opportunities. we will hopefully record this song, and spread it out.
this is my verse, and my friend is working on his verse. this is only wat i wrote so far. it doesn't go to a beat yet, its a start.
Time is up, no more of it.
I feel like shit, cuz i never quit.
"Decline" is not part of my vocab,
feels like ive been hit by a stone slab.
acute amount of punches and just a jab,
scared me away from what i needed to have.
its you that i needed so bad.
i hope all my shit don't make you mad,
i'd kill myself before you'll ever be sad.
you talk of someone like you're meant to be,
all this time i thought that you would see,
things that i would offer for you from me.
to celebrate a jubilee is what i dreamed,
so people can see you were down with me,
but i guess your feelings just disagree,
with me, i guess i feel like an absentee,
never there to comfort you at times of misery,
i hope you see the fee that im payin with my pain,
you know that in my heart you left a stain.
cut it open and let it bleed out your name.
all the crying that i did, was full of pity and shame,
the storm thats brewin comin at ya window pane,
u thinks its so bad, another day so lame.
but after the calming of the storm, i become a new man,
like the rainbow emerges from the rain like nothing can.
