First off, this society indeed does exist- it is not simply a movie plot. It has heavy drawings from occult practices which include drinking beverages from skull shaped cups. Cult meetings are held in a masoleum at Yale, and professed members include our very own president: George W. Bush (he writes in his autobiography: "I have been initiated into the Skull and Bones society, a group so secret I can't say more")

For the first time, the public has glimpses of the weird occult ritual that President George Bush participated in during his senior year at Yale University.
Ron Rosenbaum, a top reporter for the New York Observer magazine, has scored another achievement in his 25-year-long investigation of Yale University’s Skull & Bones secret society.
Using high-tech night-vision video equipment, Rosenbaum’s undercover investigative team succeeded in videotaping the bizarre induction ritual that has been recited by numerous members of the Eastern Establishment – including President George W. Bush.
The all-male Skull & Bones society is composed of alumni of Yale University and includes some of the most powerful men in the United States of America. The society was founded in 1832 as an offshoot of a German secret society. Fifteen new members in their senior year at Yale are initiated annually into the secret society. The initiation ceremony has bonded Yale graduates who went on to become presidents, ambassadors, diplomats, Wall Street tycoons, senators, bankers, judges, lawyers, media executives, and university presidents. Members remain in the society for life.
Among the famous families in America who have sent sons into the Skull & Bones are the Tafts, the Bundys, the Buckleys, the Harrimans, the Lovetts, and the Bushes. President George W. Bush was initiated into the Skull & Bones during his senior year at Yale. Likewise, the current president’s father and grandfather – former President George. H.W. Bush and Prescott Bush – were members of the society.
According to folklore, new members of the society are taken to the basement crypt of the Bones Tomb (the fraternal society’s house on the Yale campus) to be made to crawl into a coffin. During two intense sessions with members, they are forced to recount their personal and sexual history to the other 14 “chosen ones.” Apparently, the purpose of this phase of the ritual is to help the new members bond with their fellow Bonesmen in preparation for their destiny to control the nation as part of the ruling elite.
Rosenbaum said much of the ceremony that he videotaped on Saturday, April 14, “centered on its death fixation.” The reporter said that the initiates “must die to the barbarian world” and be “reborn” in the elect of “The Order.”
Rosenbaum’s undercover team captured the eerie groans, moans, and screams emanating from inside the Tomb. The New York Observer reporter used three night-vision digital-video cameras, a tape recorder, a stepladder, and two walkie-talkies to capture video footage of the occult psychodrama.
According to Rosenbaum’s eyewitness account, the new members were led forward by a figure dressed as Satan. His appearance was greeted by, in Rosenbaum’s words, a “shrill, menacing and sometimes blood-curdling chorus of cries and screams and imprecations.”
The video shows one member – known as a “Patriarch” - posing as President George W. Bush, wearing a cape, and speaking in a Texas-twang threatening an initiate: “I’m gonna ream you like I reamed Al Gore!”
That statement was followed by the initiate saying, “Help me! It’s the devil!”
The initiates are referred to as “neophytes” and are bombarded with sexual insults.
Rosenbaum said the door opened and voices screamed, “Run, Neophyte! Run Neophyte!” The reporter said he could only see hooded figures racing about in the darkness.
The voices also cried, “Find the femur!”
Rosenbaum said the devil-figure pulled the initiates into a white tent in the courtyard where “they found their femurs and emerged with what looked like a thigh bone, although it was impossible to tell whether it once belonged to a human or not.”
The initiates were then led to the centerpiece of the ritual.
According to Rosenbaum’s account, the initiates were forced face-to-face with a guy holding what appeared to be a butcher’s knife, dressed as a “barbarian,” and standing over what seemed to be a scantily-clad woman covered in fake blood.
Rosenbaum said that the initiate then approached the knife-wielding barbarian and his victim. Each neophyte knelt and kissed the skull, “at which point the guy with the knife knelt and (pretended to) cut the throat of the prone figure.”
The group then joined in chanting the Skull & Bones mantra, “The Hangman Equals Death/The Devil Equals Death/Death Equals Death.”
President Bush refuses to talk openly about his membership in Yale’s secret society. In his autobiography, “A Charge to Keep,” Mr. Bush only wrote: ''My senior year, I joined Skull and Bones, a secret society, so secret I can't say anything more.''
Bush may be keeping his lips sealed about his Skull and Bones membership, but he still maintains his lifetime ties with his fellow Bonesmen. Among the first guests Bush invited to the White House for dinner were his fellow Bonesmen from his senior year at Yale.

The skeletal grave-digging imagery of Skull and Bones was there from the 1832 beginning, imported from Germany by Skull and Bones founder General Alfred Russell, who seems to have adopted much of the iconography and death’s-head philosophy from the German Lodges of Freemasonry. The Germanic influence on Skull and Bones may have extended to some less savory secret societies than the Freemasons. Hitler’s SS was, of course, known for using skull-and-crossbones insignia, which some say derived from the same German Masonic sources–a connection that, according to one report, has not gone unrecognized by the initiates of "the Order." Back in 1989, noted author, editor and raconteur Steven L. Aronson published an essay on Skull and Bones that quoted a member of what seems to be the same all-girl break-in team.
"The most shocking thing," the source told Mr. Aronson, "and I say this because I do think it’s sort of important–I mean President Bush does belong to Skull and Bones … there is like a little Nazi shrine inside. One room on the second floor has a bunch of swastikas, kind of an SS macho Nazi iconography. Somebody should ask President Bush about the swastikas in there."

At any given time, only about 600 or so members of the Order are alive. Of that number only 150 (about one-quarter) take an active role in the society. It is estimated that a core of perhaps 20-30 families run the Order...

In a truly free society the exercise of political power must always be open and known." (8) He then stated: "Moreover, organizations devoted to violent overthrow of political structures have always, by necessity, been secret organizations. Communist revolutionary cells are an obvious example. In fact, such revolutionary organizations can only function if their existence was secret."(9) Further, said Sutton: "In brief, secrecy in matters political is historically associated with coercion. Furthermore, the existence of secrecy in organizations with political ambitions or with a history of political actions is always suspect. Freedom is always associated with open political action and discussion while coercion is always associated with secrecy."(10)
A pamphlet on Bones described the walls of the tomb as "adorned with pictures of the founders of Bones at Yale and of the members of the Society in Germany when the Chapter was established here in 1832."(11) Sutton asked: "Think about this: Skull and Bones is not American at all. It is a branch of a FOREIGN secret society."(12) Sutton concluded that Skull and Bones "is a clear and obvious threat to constitutional freedom in the United States. Its secrecy, power and use of influence is greater by far than the masons, or any other semi-secret mutual or fraternal organization."

The powerful men of Skull & Bones genuinely believe that they have a strategic and moral "right" to control world affairs. Consequently, they take upon themselves the authority to crush any rivalrous threat to U.S. imperial leadership, whether by current allies, such as Japan, Germany or Great Britain, or by Cold War adversaries, like the Soviet Union. The members of the Order, due to their narrow WASP upbringing, view with particular suspicion the maneuverings of Zionist Israel and its affluent, influential lobby in the United States.
Bush, his fellow Bonesmen and their like-thinking elitist allies in the American Establishment see themselves as New World Order warriors, an American samurai caste of sorts, whose mission is restoring Ameriean greatness. They intend to utilize the institutional networks of the U.S. government and key private agencies, such as the New York Council on Foreign Relations. to advance their purpose.
The Skull & Bones mernbers believe in the idea of "construclive chaos". By keeping their true policy intentions secret, by constantly sending out mixed signals on all critical policy issues, they consciously seek to sow confusion among both their nominal "friends" and "enemies alike.

Despite the possible personal biases in these two accounts of the history of the Order of Skull & Bones, it must be acknowledged that the membership of the society has tended over generations to converge upon a small group of New England families who have intermarried and then sponsored their sons and nephews into the Order. This kind of inbreeding always tends to produce narrow-mindedness and prejudice against outsiders, which can be a serious shortcoming, particularly among individuals responsible for charting the course of a nation as powerful as the United States.
It can be documented by comparing the family charts of the early Bonesmen that there is today a core group of no more than 20 to 30 families who form the nucleus of the Order. The majority are old-line Puritan families who came to North America in the very first wave of settlers in the 17th century. Among these prominent families are: Whitney, Lord, Phelps. Wadsworth, Allen, Bllndy, Adams, Stimson, Taft, Gilman and Perkins. A second group of families in the Skull & Bones core earned fabulous fortunes during the 18th and 19th centuries and thus won a rite of passage into the New England elite, even though they were not among the earliest settlers. The leading Skull & Bones families in this second category are: Harriman, Rockefeller, Payne, Davison, Pillsbury and Weyerhauser.
A few of the Jewish banking families who made their way from Germany to the United States during the 18th and l9th centuries were eventually granted limited access to the WASP inner sanctums. Some families, like the Schiff, Warburg, Guggenheim and Meyer families, were unofficially designated as intermediaries between the New England WASPs and their cousins in London. This was especially true after the Rothschild interests supplanted the Anglican Baring group as the most powerful financial cabal in the City of London. Some of these German Jewish families became so absorbed into the WASP or Anglican society that they eventually converted from Judaism to Protestantism and were gradually ostracized from the Jewish aristocracy.
The WASP families, however, never saw the prominent Jewish investment banking families of America as equals. The Jews were considered politically and cultrally different by the WASPs, and have never been accepted into the latter's inner circle. For the most part, these Jewish merchant bankers are viewed with suspicion and distrust by the members of the Order. Moreover, the Jewish fraternal societies, such as B'nai B'rith, were formed out of the British-based Scottish Rite Freemasonry. Their sponsors in America, the Rothschilds and the Cecil Rhodes Trust (also known as the British Round Table Group), are connected with the British Foreign Office and its secret intelligence apparatus

The fulcrum for the policy of constructive chaos is, at present, the Middle East situation. Although U.S. military action in the region has for the time being subsided, America's military power will remain a critical determinant in the future of that vital zone of conflict. American military power is aimed at securing undisputed control over the vast reservoir of oil-not at necessarily fostering any permanent alignment of local states or combinations of regional interests.
