well after i got my braces taken off (i think that was like, 18 months ago..) i jus tried to avoid teeth-staining foods like soy sauce, coffee, etc..(if i did have any, i brush my teeth as soon as possible)..and i used crest whitening toothpaste, i flossed a few times a week and i occasionally use those white strips but i dont think they work that much o.O it sounds tedious to do all this, but if u make it a habit, its not that hard to keep up..plus its worth it, especially when nowadays i have to take a lot of pix (its senior year, everyone seems to want pix of u in every single damn event )
*edit*: umm, i dunno if this effects it or not, but i changed the way i brushed my teeth..instead of taking long, steady brushes, i do fast, short strokes across my teeth, rinse, and then repeat..
