I mean, in any situation, is it better to think something bad is going to happen, just to be secure?

I dont know about bad/good, but I think its a human nature to do it at times. People will try not to be hurt, so they tend to think the worst or bad side of it to be secure.
I'm sure lots of people do it, I do it

My favorite person on the planet always says you should expect the worse out of people so you won't be disappointed but I don't agree. I've had a lot of turmoldt in my life but I can't be all defensive and think everyone's out to get me. It would make life just so damn depressing. I'm not Miss mambee pambee pie in the sky, life is wonderful either. I find those kinds of people damn annoying. But, I do expect good from people and for the most part i get it .
