Anne
"Anne and her friend were sitting on a subway train. Anne was now feeling extremely regretful that she had not gotten up for the old feeble woman that had walked onto the train several minutes earlier. An old man sitting next to her said, "Kids these days have no respect for their elders. The world has sure gone downhill." Other people sitting nearby said their own peace about the young girls. Just then Anne got courage and stood straight up. "I'm sorry mam. I should have gotten up earlier." Anne apologize many times and let the old woman have her seat. No one could see the sadness hidden underneath Anne's pant legs. Legs as thin as pencils held up by heavy metal leg braces. No... no one could have possibly known that..."
One couldn't know EVERYONE'S situation. Don't judge someone or tell them they're wrong, they might not be able to help it. Maybe that person who hit you while he was running down the sidewalk was not being rude when he didn't stop to apologize. Perhaps his child was just in an accident and he was running towards the hospital. Perhaps if he was late just one more time to work he'd be fired; then he couldn't be able to support his 3 children, wife, and ill parents. Always try to consider the situation of your neighbor, maybe you're wrong in this case... not them.
