punishments?

do your parents give you a punishment when you get introuble?

as for me... my parents either A. shout at me (dad) or B. give me the cold shoulder (mom), but i never get grounded or get punished...

depends. they usualli just yell and lecture me, but they occasionally ground me and take away mai privileges (internet, goin out w frenz, etc)

erm...not for a long while...they just 'lecture' me and then they hope that i take in what they've said and think bout it...they try to treat me like an adult...cause there's no use in 'punishments'

first offense... they tell me not to do it again
second offense... they yell at me
third offense... there is no third offense because I get it when they yell

my parents don't do grounding... i'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing... cuz then... i don't noe when to ask them if i could go somewhere with my friends... or if they're still mad at me.

they juss give me hours of lectures -____-;

they sometimes yell at me, and i just ignore them.

punishments from mom:
-the FREEZING shoulder (she can be a real biotch!)
-less or no spending money
-no hanging out that week
-screams the sh*t outta me

punishments from dad:
-early curfew
-no or limited internet/phone time

eh he duznt get mad at me that much..my mom usually handles everything

throw my clothes in the dumpster*
yell some more and scream some more
take my allowance for that week , sometimes the whole month

and er.. more 1000+ excercises

my parents did what the majority of all korean parents did. "spanking"
i've learned that this almost never solves the cause of the problem. its up to the individual to change.
my parents now give me long lectures.

hahaha that reminds me of the mom in malcolm in the middle and how she wud punish her kids by makin them do stuff like spin around in circles and othr stuff
i dun think mai dad evr punished me by makin me do sumtin physical. i can see it now - "laps! i demand more laps!"
