if you allow me to sidestep the idea that it really is impossible for us to know at all about whether or not she likes you for sure.
But, it sounds like she really does not like you in that way at all. She said she really liked you back, and she was not the one to bring it up. She never says why she likes you, and you didi not tell us much but if you cannot tell then she probably does not like you. You used to date her, you know how she is better than we do. You can read her and know if she really does like you by her actions around you, etc. She said she really liked you, she reallly likes you as a friend or more, she knows there are two ways to interpret it and she knew she was safe saying she really liked you back despite which way she felt because it can be taken two ways.
do not waste you energy on her i would say. But, you SHOULD know better than i do since you dated her.
