Quake 4, coming out in a bout 2 years looks amazing to me. jesus look at the graphics













the last is an ingame screen for a mental ward. nothing else compares to this. The popular card Radeon 9700 pro will run this game at 4fps. Ridiculous right?

no, actually by then the chip will easily have a FULL T&L hardware engine with PX/VXshaders/ fully coded in, for the specific engine code.

ID software is simply genius, they won't release sometihng running at 4 fps. Look at Quake III, still looks better than most of my new games and runs at about 2-4 times the fps.

i dont think you guys understand this. it coming out in 2 years, new chips will be out completely revolutionizing graphics. To make these models, it took the developers 4 nvidea geforce 4 with special cooling devices. yes i mean 4fps with the cards we use today.

the sick thing is that prob wont be the finished graphics. just the graphics 2 work wit now and then put the finishin touches and watever they need.
