is it me or are there a lot of celebrities on commercials these days

in one day.. i saw fabulous on a reebok commercial
then black eyed peas on dr. pepper commercial
then i saw enrique iglesias on a doritos commercial
and then i saw kevin bacon on an american express i think? commercial

whats going on here.

i nkow there are more.. like.. shakira with that pepsi commercial a while ago and there are six flags commercials with uncle kracker and something ford girl.. i forget her name

whats going on.. somebody tell me
