Here's the plot:

It was funny to see all the references to the ride. My first trip to disneyworld was last spring, and we went on the ride twice as part of a hella boring tour. Now they're coming out with a Haunted Mansion movie based on the other disney ride starring Eddie Murphy. What's next, Splash Mountain or Space Mountain movies? The movie was really good though, I'd have to say the best summer movie I've seen so far. Johnny Depp was excellent.

haha sweet. the haunted mansion was actually quite impressive in comparison with the pirates ride. Especially when you get to see the ballroom ghosts dancing.

oh man..I saw this film yesterday night..
boy, did I enjoy watching it! there were no boring parts..AT ALL.
Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp are such great actors. I fell even more in love with Johnny after seeing this. *sigh* they both did a great job with their roles.

1. no one caught the captain morgan reference when they saw it
or
2. people didn't think it was funny

however, one of the people I saw it with and I thought it was pretty funny, we were the only people who laughed at that part.

Ah such a fun movie... play the game Monkey Island! It's a game thats based on that ride.. both that and the movie have much in common

Johnny Depp(*swoon*) was so good.. I thought I was going to enjoy Bloom more but his character was quite a little pussy. Jack..Captain that is.. was very entertaining

this was the best movie i've seen since lord of the rings: two towers. orlando bloom and johnny depp were really entertaining to watch, esp johnny depp. that guy was hilarious! and i thot it was really cool how they turned into skeletons in the moonlight. wahh i actually want to see it again!

very good movie. Orlando Bloom's acting was questionable, but throwing the rapier cancels that all out. Johnny Depp's performance was stellar, especially his entrance (standing on the mast :D)

Keira Knightley was very very very hot.
